The club announced this week that Dermot Dunne has been appointed Senior Team Manager. The former Finn Harps and Omagh Town player takes over from Danny McConnell, who resigned recently. Dermot previously managed Phoenix in Derry and more recently, was part of the management team of the Quigleys Point side that have won the Ulster Senior League for the past two seasons.There was no winner of last weeks lotto. The numbers were 3, 6, 11, 13, 14, 15 and lucky number 3. Match 5 winners were Jimmy Gallagher, Newmills and Veronica O’Donnell, Correnagh. Lucky number winners include Marie Murray, Listillion, Seamus Gallagher, C/o Gilroy Tiles, Carmel Maguire, 6 Ashbrook, Brid Diver, Glen, Chris Gildea, Fy Correnagh and Anthony McGrath, Lurgybrack.

This Sunday sees a few former players pull on the boots again to play in a tournament to mark the Letterkenny Reunion. Teams from Lurgybrack, Iona, Oldtown and Glencar are taking part with games kicking off at Ballyare at 2.00pm. Your support would be appreciated.

Work on the Astroturf pitch at Dry Arch Park is continuing and should be ready by early September. Pictures of the development can be viewed here.
